Never Buy A Suzuki

Back in April 2005, Emily and I were in a situation where we wanted to buy a newer car so that we could rely on it and to have a warranty so that if something went wrong, we wouldn't have to worry about repairs. We ended up buying a 2004 Suzuki Verona. I am sure it was not our first choice in buying a car, but for the price and the warranty and the age, we thought it would be a good purchase.

So, for the first 6 months, it was a great car - no real problems, but then all hell broke loose. Since November, the car has been in the shop at least 4-5 times, I can't even remember anymore. Sometimes, the check engine light came on for no reason - others, they told us that there might be a serious engine problem. All this was nice because we didn't have to pay for the repairs, but we are so frustrated with it, especially since we have to take it in the shop literally every other week for repairs.

I know we are using the warranty, but I believe the reason that companies give you warranties is so that you don't have to use it. So now, we are doing everything we can to get Suzuki to do something about this. It is rediculous that we are having this many problems with a car that is less than 2 years old. I am sorry for the rant, just had to get it out.
